BRAD Pitt is “distraught” and “terrified” at the thought of losing access to his children over allegations of abuse as estranged wife Angelina Jolie blocks him from seeing them.
In a world exclusive, two members of Brad and Angelina Jolie’s staff – who have both worked for the couple for multiple years and are in constant contact with Brad – have agreed to talk to The Sun to reveal the truth behind their divorce.
They say the 52-year-old actor is “pacing” around his home, unable to sleep or concentrate out of fear.

Revealing Brad’s current state of mind, one staff member told The Sun: “I have never seen Brad like this.
He is distraught, pacing, nervous – totally terrified.
“He is just expressing to me that he is scared. He is scared of losing his kids over something that he hasn’t done and him being made out to look like a bad father. He is far from a bad father.
“He’s not able to see the kids at the moment but he is constantly in touch with staff asking to make sure they’re OK.
He keeps saying: ‘Just look after my kids, that’s all that matters right now.’”

The Sun has agreed not to name either member of the household staff, but can confirm they have worked for the couple for multiple years and have no interest in being negative about Angelina, 41.
For the first time they explain in detail the type of father Brad is to his six kids – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, ten, Knox, eight, and Vivienne, eight – and deny that the actor has ever been violent towards them.

We revealed earlier this week how Angelina had filed for divorce from her husband of two years following an incident on a plane last Wednesday when the family were flying back to the US from Paris.
Brad is now being probed by the FBI over allegations of child abuse stemming from the aircraft episode.
The staffers will reveal what they know about what happened on board the plane in another world exclusive we will publish soon.
In our interview, they also told how Brad and Angelina play a “good cop, bad cop” relationship with their kids, with Brad talking on the role of the “enforcer”.

The second staff member revealed: “Brad feels terrible.
“He feels that what is being said isn’t accurate and fair.
“I don’t believe it is either.
“Unfortunately I know Brad feels terrible for the kids at this point because it puts them through a lot.
“That’s what I’m reading from him.
“It puts him through a lot.
“I don’t think he deserves it.
“I see words like ‘child abuse’ and things like that.
“Believe me, it is far from it.”
The same employee strongly maintained that Brad is not an “aggressive” person and is instead a soft and gentle nature-lover with no history of violence.

He told The Sun: “He is not an aggressive guy.
“He cares about nature and trees and design.
“He has kind of got an artistic way about him.
“He is not macho, he is not a cage-fighter type or an aggressive person at all.
“He is kind and really nice with the kids.

“Brad is an easy-going guy, not aggressive.
“He is not mean.
“I’m sure he’s human from time to time.
“I’ve heard a bit of arguing to that extent, but nothing severe, no pattern of being cruel or mean.
“He is a good father.

“If there was something where someone would pick out a belt – I have never seen anything like that.
“And I have been in close proximity inside those homes.”
The staffers stressed that the Fight Club actor has a very positive relationship with his children.
He said: “He is a dad who will want the kids to do chores and things like that.

“Like most mums and dads, it’s good cop bad cop thing.
“Like the old saying, ‘Wait until your father gets home’.
“Brad is kind of the enforcer.
“The kids never complained.
“They might have said, ‘My dad got upset with me’, or ‘I’m not allowed to order any more video games’, or ‘He took away my iTunes’ or ‘He took away my computer’.

“Those things have happened and Brad has come down, and so has Angie on those things, because they are parents.
“These are all normal things that have happened.
“But nothing where there has been punishment or hitting or physical.
“I can tell you and swear on a stack of bibles that nothing like that has ever happened.
“If there is a pattern and someone is cruel to animals or anything like that, then you could say, ‘This guy has a mean streak in him or this woman is completely out of line’.
“Nothing like that has happened.”

While Brad and Angelina would fight like any married couple, they would always keep their arguments away from the view of the kids.
The other staff member explained: “I am not privy when a couple is fighting over things.
"They don’t do it in front of the kids, they certainly wouldn’t do it in front of the staff.
“Their issues are behind closed doors.
“But it takes two.”
They also confirmed that Brad is a rule-setter and has always been insistent on teaching his kids manners, adding: “I have been there for a while.

“In my view Brad has always been a loving parent.
“He has been a boundary setter and manners and you’re polite and you respect people, giving them all the round tools to succeed as young adults.
“He is always there for them as a parent should be, through the good times and the bad times.
“He is able to explain things to them in certain ways.
“He is a normal parent.
“He obviously wants the best for his kids, he has always had their wellbeing in hand.
“I am usually with Brad full time.
“I show up for work and he says, ‘Go be with the kids. Make sure my kids are ok as I can’t be there right now.’

“He has been there for them every day of their lives.
“To not see someone, especially your father, has got to be tearing them apart.
“I can only tell you what I’ve seen in the past and what a great father Brad has been in the past, what I have seen first-hand at birthday parties, or on weekends trying to make a fun day.
“Things like that, those are the things – taking his kids skiing and dirt-bike riding.
“Those are the things that I can tell you I’ve seen Brad interactive and do for his kids.”

Before their messy split, Brad and Angelina had enjoyed a number of holidays with their children.
However, the other employee claimed trips with their kids had become few and far between due to their busy work schedules.
They revealed: “They recently had all gone on different smaller vacations together and different beach houses and things like that.
“He is a supportive dad, he is a good guy.
“They are both busy parents, they are both going 100 miles per hour.
“They have a lot of irons in the fire, a lot of different things and projects they are all involved in, whether it be work related or supporting different organisations and other things.
“They are busy people.”

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on Monday for “the health of her family” – just two years after they wed at their French estate Chateau Miraval.
The actress filed papers citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and asked for physical custody of the couple's three biological children as well as their three adopted children.

The Sun told yesterday how Brad offered to go into therapy to save his marriage to Angelina Jolie, telling friends: “She’s crazy, but I still love her.”
The Hollywood megastar admitted he did take drugs, drink alcohol and yell during confrontations with Jolie, but is devastated his wife has assembled a "hit team" to paint him as a dangerous dad.
He is now lawyering up in order to fight Jolie in court if necessary to battle for custody of their children.
